The following is an excerpt from Ellias and Theanna Lonsdale’s The Christ Letters: An Evolutionary Guide Home. The Lonsdales describe their letters as written between two worlds. This particular letter, titled “Outer and Inner Mind,” focuses upon understanding the nature of one’s own mind.
The human mind acquires a reputation for having become versed in a given discipline or area of interest. It then views all things from within that vantage point. Concentrative power becomes the muscle in the mind. This is contemporary thinking at its best.
The specialized mind that has mastered a field of study graduates with honors as the top soul. This mind of the living becomes the conduit for the developed faculty of the soul to express its accomplishment, knowledge, and proficiency. Even though humans have always been centered in radiant light, how much of that spirit light actually comes through the top soul, the mental expert? Unfortunately, hardly any.
When an inherent spirit understanding does trickle through, one typically apologizes because it feels somewhat foreign, awkward, and out of character. In this backing down or denial of spirit presence, the door opens for error to crop up through one’s explaining away of spirit’s call and attempted communication. The filter of the specialized mind is micro-intensive. The mind is entirely submerged in discrete details. Its grid is disconnected, disjointed. The expert mind is unable to make or sustain the connection to spirit, whereas any light-bearer is alive to a macro-extensive field. It is broad in scope. Its grid encompasses each jeweled facet connected to all of existence.
The specialized mind is trained to operate within a mechanistic, automated framework. In contrast, the broadscale universal mind we bring with us holds all of existence. It is alive. The angels bless and infuse it with the energies of the planet and the greater Cosmos, lovingly instilling it within us at birth. Although the Machine Mind and the Mind of Light are both inside us, the gap between them is so wide that they rarely can ever hear each other’s language.
Our mind is at war within itself. War erupts as a consequence of the gap and its implications. When we think mechanically and tightly specialize our understanding of how things work, we build and reinforce a pattern of going strictly outside ourselves for the answers. If we can close the gap enough, we can rise into living thinking that resides inside the Mind of Light. Then, we can see how each thing and every situation relates unto the whole.
