WISDOM | The Evolver Convergence Comes to Pittsburgh 6/1 – 6/3

From the Evolver.net e-newsletter:

The Evolver Social Movement invites you to our first ever network-wide Convergence. For this unprecedented weekend-long event, members of the growing transformational scenes and Evolver Spore chapters will descend upon Pittsburgh for a weekend of paradigm-bending talks, interactive workshops, visionary art, music, and community engagement with those working to address the global challenges tidal waving towards us. (Live streaming tickets are available for those who can’t make it to Pittsburgh).

The Convergence will cover topics ranging from alternative currencies to Occupy idealogies, permaculture principles to shamanic reemergence, bio-remediation to redesigning community, the psychedelic renaissance to symbiosis and social change.

Featuring: 2012 author and Evolver co-founder Daniel Pinchbeck, Sacred Economics author Charles Eisenstein, MAPS founder and president Rick Doblin (via Skype), Star Sister author Stella Osorojos, Electric Jesus author & E+SM community director Jonathan Talat Phillips, Nightlight Astrology founder and Fishers of Men author Adam Elenbaas, ethnopharmacologist and The Invisible Landscape co-author Dennis McKenna (via Skype), “Online Telepathy” pioneer Jennifer Palmer, Evolver Creative Director Michael Robinson, Evolver publisher Ken Jordan, integral systems biologist Mary Beth Steisslinger, “Sust Enable” director Caroline Savery, Pittsburgh Permaculture co-founder Juliette Jones, and many more.

This interactive journey is your chance to engage directly with the trailblazing thinkers, activists, and artists building a new planetary culture — one that is optimistic, open-minded, playful, and participatory.
