Enhanced with over 200 photographs and illustrations, the book combines years of historical research with detailed descriptions of the spiritual belief system that forms the foundation of these practices. Adam is currently an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley working toward a degree in Media Studies. On the weekend he can be found either along the coast of the Bay Area cycling or along the hillside hiking with friends. Considers himself a film buff, he welcomes rainy days as well.
