We love when our books get new reviews, and this month, we’ve received quite a few! Here are just a few of the press highlights for October.
With a star-studded list of both contributors (Michael Pollan, Alice Walker, etc) and endorsers (Leonardo DiCaprio), it comes as no surprise, of course, that Hope Beneath Our Feet would make the “Top Shelf” recommended reading list in the San Francisco Chronicle. See the full list here:

The exciting new CJ Floyd mystery prequel First of State from Dr. Robert Greer has not only received reviews from Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, and Booklist – it’s been ranked as a #5 Local Bestseller by the Denver Post (Jonathan Franzen’s much-talked-about Freedom was #2)! Teaching Yoga is another title that has received much acclaim in recent months, with great reviews from Yoga+Joyful Living Magazine, Yogabasics.com, and Midwest Book Review, to name a few. Here’s a great review of this must-have book for yoga instructors from Yoga Journal:
“Whether you’re already a yoga teacher, aspiring to be one, or just seeking to deepen your understanding and practice of yoga, Mark Stephens’ thoughtful, eloquent, and thorough book would be a valuable addition to your library… In Teaching Yoga, he covers all the basic topics you’d hope to find in a comprehensive teacher training class… Stephens’ deep understanding of, and appreciation for, the practice and fruits of yoga constantly illuminate his writing. That spirit gives force to his gentle insistence that all yoga teachers must look inside to find – and share with their students – their own authentic expression of yoga.”
