“Is a picture worth a thousand words? This amazing photo (thanks again to Margaret Comino) was shot at the most crucial moment of our private entry into the great archives of Stonehenge during this year’s sacred England/crop circle journey. As we approached the site, privileged to have our hour of worship inside the stones at sunset, over one hundred blackbirds were perched atop the cross stone you see in the image. As I led the group through the portal, I asked and waited for the guardians to give us permission to ENTER. At that moment, the collective flew, as one, from their observation deck and the gates opened. Miraculously, Margaret caught this moment for us all to realize what it means to truly enter into Sacred Space in the shamanic tradition. Leaving the site, we were blessed with a perfect rainbow that formed overhead and enveloped the entire site. It was a journey of intense beauty, discovery, love and celebration. Thanks to all of you who were there; who knew you had to be there.
